Tutors Peter Davies and Janet Brady have been teaching painting for over 20 years. We teach all the core skills for your medium of choice, but we like to focus our teaching in a way to benefits each individual creative journey. Painters can work and develop their favourite medium or maybe try another.

Weekend and 5 day at Brambles, our signature courses in beautiful Devon. Also UK courses at special locations, and we reccomend some of our Academy courses.
Courses for intermediate painters:
You’ve got the basics and are keen to learn more? We offer courses at our home in Devon with a focus on pleinnair. Courses at other UK destinations and painting holidays in foreign locations. Morocco, Sicily, and Corfu.Experiences different cultures and customs, good weather with more challenging subjects.
Courses for more advanced painters:
Join us at our most challenging and exciting locations such as Venice, India and Japan. Dynamic cultures, interesting architectur, and new coloursfocused tuition to improve and develop skills. Setting goals wishing a short time frame to get positive results.
Sketchaway - Online Tuition
Enjoy learning to create beautiful sketchbooks in the comfort of your own home. Using pen and watercolour you can learn to draw and paint in a sketchbook.Its a fabulous hobby for holiday journaling and an absorbing pastime recording nature and wildlife in a small sketchbook.
