Immerse yourself in the vibrant landscapes and unique character of Ireland, and let the essence of “the garden of Ireland” – Wicklow’s natural beauty – inspire your every brushstroke. Join us for an unforgettable holiday that blends creative expression with breathtaking scenery perfectly.

Nestled in the southeast, not far from the coast—just a short drive from the dramatic mountain peaks—our location is ideal for exploring Wicklow’s diverse natural beauty. We will also spend time in Dublin, capturing the energy and vibrancy of the city through urban sketching and painting.

Flying into Dublin, we begin our 9 day trip for  2 nights, exploring the historic, vibrant city of Dublin. 

We then drive southeast to Arklow, stopping on the way at the  National Gardens, and head further south to our lovely accommodation, Stoop House.

We will stay here for the next 7 nights.

All breakfasts in Dublin and Wicklow.

Breakfast only in Dublin, lunches and evening meals, guests byu themselves.

4 evening meals are included when staying at Stoops house in Wicklow.
3 evening meals are not included, we go out to local restaurants and guests pay for themselves.
Lunches will be provided when at Stoops house, guests will buy their own when out on location.

Flights are not included but are recommended. There are excellent flights from Exeter. And other major airports such as Bristol and Heathrow. Transfers are included to accommodation in Arklow and back to Dublin airport.

We plan to paint here for a day, to capture a brief essence and buzz of this vibrant city. There are elements of yesteryear mixed in with the modernisation of the old port and warehouse buildings. We round off each evening at a city restaurant and bar. There are plenty of lively cultural events with bands singing, dancing and Guinness. 

Glendalough, the most picturesque of locations, is an idyllic spot. The home of the Cathedral and the settlement ruins of St Cavan. A beautiful spot to paint, the most beautiful landscape and long view of the countryside.
