A dear friend recently introduced me to the bird song identifying app Merlin. You can download it for free. It’s a great way of recording as you walk with an instant diagnosis identifying the birds you hear – I love it!
This is a great resource for my sketchbook. I’m not a twitcher so the App takes all the stress and graft out of identifying what I hear. It also gives me great pleasure to know what birds I’m listening to.
