Come and paint with Brambles Art Retreat in beautiful Sicily

Join us in Sicily a country full of history, amazing architecture and fabulous culture. We are exploring two cities on the coast with beautiful beaches, stunning villages and clear seas.
We have the opportunity to sketch and paint at the base of Mount Etna in the beautiful city of Catania, our first stop on our journey along southern Sicily. We will then travel on to Syracuse.
We are offering 6 days of sketching and painting days, working with two tutors covering all media. We like a small group no larger than 8.

The trip to Marrakesh and Essaouira was a wonderful combination of art and tourism – a feast of colour, sights and smells in alleyways packed with spices, produce and craftwork bursting out of market stalls. Stunning public gardens, brilliant light. An enduring inspiration for artists.

There were inspirational views of Naples’ Bay to sketch and paint, from the hotel. Painting trips provided diversity in the ruins of Pompeii, the gardens of Ravello, the churches, and the ancient streets of Positano and Amalfi. Expert tuition was provided by our hosts Janet and Peter. A delightful trip.
